Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox born December 25 of 1954 in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson & Thomas Allison Lennox is the name of her parents. Lennox took classes in piano, flute and harpsichord at the Royal Academy of Music London for three years during the 1970s. Lennox lived on an allowance for students and went on part-time employment to augment her funds. While in the Royal Academy Lennox was dissatisfied by her performance compared to her student classmates and contemplated a possible alternative route she could take. Lennox began her career in the year 1976, as a member of the band Dragons Playground. She left the band prior to the group's appearance on I.T.V.s talent show New Faces. She was the vocalist in The Tourists a British pop group from 1977 until the year 1980. It was during this time that she met Dave Stewart with whom she will form the pop duo Eurythmics. Lennox started working with Diva in 1992, her debut solo album. It was an enormous success with regard to the sales as well as critically acclaimed. Nostalgia Lennoxs 6th solo album was Released on October 31, 2014. The C.D. The C.D. is comprised of Lennox's most loved blues, jazz, and soul songs from her youth. Lepidoptera is a compilation of four tracks that she improvised for piano, which Lennox made available in May 2019. The E.P. The first single from her debut album"Now I'm Letting You go... is the perfect accompaniment to her work of art in the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. Annie Lennox born December 25 1954, is a Scottish activist, politician and philanthropist. She is also a music producer and singer. At the end of the 70s, she gained a little fame when part of The Tourists. She and Dave Stewart then gained international recognition in the 80s as Eurythmics. Lennox began her own solo career when she released her debut album Diva in 1992. It was the basis of many hit songs like Walking through the Broken Glass. Medusa the studio album released in 1995 has cover versions of songs like No MoreI I Love Yous and A Whiter Shade of Pale. Six solo studio albums and one compilation album are at her disposal.
